Descendants of the Sun (subtitle indonesia) adalah drama tv korea yang bergenre melodrama dan romance, yang disutradarai oleh Lee Eung-Bok dan dibintangi salah satu mantan member running man yaitu Song Joong Ki sekaligus menjadi pemeran utama dalam drama ini, dan beberapa lagi aktris pemerannya adalah Song Hye Kyo, Jin Goo, Kim Ji Won, Kang Shin Il. Descendants of the Sun tayang di KBS2 sebenayk 16 episode dan akan mulai tayang dari tanggal 24 februari. Descendants of the Sun tayang setiap hari rabu dan kamis pada pukul 22:00 (KST).

Pasukan penjagan perdamaian dunia atau PBB mengirimkan pasukannya ke negara yang dilanda perang bekepanjangan, Kapten Yoo Shi Jin (Song Jong Ki) merupakan salah satunya yang betugas memimpin tim unit Special Warfare Command, Dia bertemu dengan Kang Mo Yun (Song Hye Kyo) merupakan seorang dokter relawan, saat mereka bekerja sama pada daerah yang dilanda penyakit, Sho Yoh dan Mo Yun sering terlibat pertengkaran.
